Join Heather for an unhurried 2-hour Autumnal Yin Masterclass designed to support your body and mind as we transition from the active energy (yang) of summer to the restorative rest (yin) of winter.
This masterclass will build your Autumn toolkit of practical, embodied practices you can use throughout the season to nurture your nervous system and support the natural process of letting go.
What you will experience:
Yin postures specifically chosen to nourish the Lungs and Large Intestine.
Simple acupressure points.
Accessible breath practices to help soften sympathetic overdrive and support parasympathetic regulation.
Why Yin in Autumn?
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Autumn is associated with the Metal element, which governs moving inwards, setting boundaries, and establishing structure. For optimum health, we focus on strengthening the Lungs and Large Intestine. These organs are vital for immunity, taking in what we need, and releasing both physical metabolic by-products and emotional baggage.

Yin & Pins Summer Masterclass
Join Kathryn and Lou from Vessel Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine for a unique Yin Yoga and Acupuncture Masterclass on Saturday, November 29th. This 90-minute session offers a chance to ground yourself before summer.
Expect Yin Yoga led by Heather, focusing on connective tissues and meridians, and acupuncture by Kathryn and Lou to stimulate energy flow. The class includes an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Meridian Theory (Spleen & Stomach channels), a Yin Yoga practice targeting these meridians, and acupuncture during an extended Savasana.

A PATH TO JOY - 200hr Teacher Training
Led by Heather and Patty, this training offers hands-on mentorship and rich discussion in a small group of only 10 students, a unique blend of Eastern wisdom and Western science, in-person learning every Tuesday from 9am-2pm supported by journaling, reading, and online resources, Yoga Alliance Certification and lifelong skills for emotional and physical vitality
